All the different pieces that comprise me of who I am and how I make sense of the things around me. I selected the slides that I feel most represent myself the best way.

When I think of my purest self, I think of a tree. I am deep-rooted in my values and when I am searching for inspiration my mind stretches like the branches of a tree. These branches represent all the things I hope to achieve.

I believe the color, texture, style, length, and type of hair are all ways in which we express ourselves.

Sometimes it can be challenging to look within. It is easy to be a harsh critique of yourself. I asked my mom to explain how she sees me. Her response gave me a whole new perspective on how I now view myself.

Encinitas, California is my hometown water. A vintage, laid-back beach town. Homes stretch across the coastline and restaurants rest on the water. When I am at home, I spend my days splashing in the waves and eating burritos from my favorite taco shop, Raul’s. Always ending the day with a taco gazing at the burnt orange sky. My home, l love you.

I have always been a dreamer. This manifesto is more of a planner and the things that I will achieve during my career and life. I know that everything requires hard work but it is my strong will and motivation that is going to get me where I need to be in life.

Life is full of setbacks. It is what you do with those roadblocks that make the difference. I have learned that life is all about perseverance. My turtle story represents a turning point moment in my life that gave me the strength to truly discover who I am. I am thankful for my turtle story because it has shaped me into the person I am today.
